  課題組長介紹:

  向勇, 研究員,博士生導師。植物基因組研究中心副主任,綠色超級稻分子設計和全基因組育種首席科學家。主要研究領域為種子休眠與萌發(fā)的機理研究及應用。研究成果在The Plant Cell,Plant Physiology,Current Opinion in Plant Biology等學術期刊發(fā)表。

 

  研究方向:

  種子休眠與萌發(fā)的機理研究及應用。以水稻和擬南芥為研究對象,結合基因組學、遺傳學、分子生物學等手段,克隆控制種子活力 (休眠、壽命和逆境萌發(fā)等)的功能基因(或QTL),并進行深入的生物學功能研究,闡明相關性狀調控的分子機制,為直播稻的分子育種提供候選基因和理論基礎。

 

  研究進展:

  1) 利用3K自然群體材料,結合基因型和田間表型通過GWAS分析,鑒定了11個與休眠性狀顯著關聯(lián)的位點。利用重組自交系群體材料結合基因型和田間表型通過連鎖分析,鑒定了7個與休眠性狀緊密連鎖的QTL位點(LOD>3)。目前正在進行相關位點的精細定位。

  2)通過突變體篩選和圖位克隆鑒定控制種子休眠的新基因Reduced Dormancy5RDO5)。RDO5編碼一個胚乳特異表達PP2C蛋白磷酸化酶。RDO5突變使得種子休眠完全喪失,超表達RDO5顯著提高種子休眠。
